You really went above and beyond all our expectations!

Christina and Isaac Becker

Married at Stilly Brook Farm in Arlington

He provided great advice that was thoughtful and catered to who we were as a couple – you could tell that he really cared about making the day special for us and something that we would always want to remember.

Audra and Ryan Earl

Married at Newcastle Golf and Country Club

We needed someone to bring people together who are from diverse backgrounds and walks of life. So, after talking with Alan just two minutes, we realized that he was our guy.

Diana and Jordan Mandel

Married at Ray's Boathouse

We were able to create the perfect playlist and Al delivered on an awesome dance party.

Carinn and Elliott White

Married at Within Sodo

We appreciate everything you put into making our night so memorable and fun for all our guests.

Victoria and Michael Villareal

Married at Historic 1625 Tacoma Place

Alan got a great feel for our music style before the event and pulled off the DJ/Emcee role perfectly for us.

Cobie O'Brien and Jeremie Leverich

Married at the Edgewater in Seattle

Honestly, it was amazing. Little to nothing went wrong, everyone had a blast, and I know Alan played a huge role in that.

Chelsa and Levon Dunn

Married at Robinswood House in Bellevue

Alan was so helpful! I don’t know what we would have done without all of his great advice. He has so much knowledge and information, it is beyond fantastic!

Michelle and Brian Nagy

Married at Sanders Estate in Auburn

He takes full responsibility for everything at the reception, from the cake cutting to making sure the photographer is there for every important event. As a bride, this was amazing because I wanted no stress the day of my wedding and that’s exactly what that promise included.

Ellie and James Beckman

Married at Lord Hill Farms

Everyone is talking about how personal everything was and saying it was the best wedding dance party they’ve been to, and so much of that is because of you.

Sarah and Kyle Dominick

Married at Robinswood House in Bellevue

The Top Dance Songs of 2018

by Alan Music, Reception, Wedding Planning Tips and Ideas

I’m going to be honest with you. I don’t know any wedding DJ in Seattle or across the country who will look back on 2018 and reminisce about how it was an amazing year for dance music. There just weren’t the big, universal hits that EVERYBODY knows and dances to (think “Uptown Funk,” think “Can’t Stop the Feeling.”) The biggest stars were probably Drake and Cardi B and I think their music isn’t universal enough to fill most dancefloors.

Maybe it’s a sign that our music consumption is changing and we all have our individual playlists and recommendations on streaming services. So we don’t have the common experience of hearing a song. Or maybe it’s a sign that the artists didn’t have the inspiration. (Justin Timberlake’s songs hardly made a dent on the charts.) Whatever the cause, wedding DJs all across the country are rooting for 2019 to be a lot better.

Nevertheless, there are some songs worth checking out. I put my Top 100ish on a Spotify Playlist. And here are roughly my Top 30:

Track Artist
One Kiss Calvin Harris & Dua Lipa
I Like It Cardi B & Bad Bunny & J Balvin
Havana Camila Cabello & Young Thug
Finesse Bruno Mars & Cardi B & Pink Panda
NO EXCUSES Meghan Trainor
Have It All Jason Chase & Marcus Mraz
Jackie Chan Tiësto & Dzeko & Preme & Post Malone
Mad Love Sean Paul & David Guetta & Becky G & GLOWINTHEDARK
Shotgun George Ezra
broken lovelytheband
Dinero Jennifer Lopez & DJ Khaled & Cardi B
Échame La Culpa Luis Fonsi & Demi Lovato
Flames David Guetta & Sia
God’s Plan Drake
Happier Marshmello & Bastille
High Hopes Panic! At The Disco
Him & I G-Eazy & Halsey
Lookin’ Up Barenaked Ladies
Low – Sondr Remix Lenny Kravitz & Sondr
Meant to Be – Acoustic Bebe Rexha
Mo Bamba Sheck Wes
New Rules Dua Lipa
Nothing Breaks Like a Heart Mark Ronson & Miley Cyrus
On The Loose Niall Horan
Solo Clean Bandit & Demi Lovato
The Middle Zedd & Maren Morris & Grey
Thunder Imagine Dragons
Up All Night Beck
Us Jennifer Lopez
Wolves Selena Gomez & Marshmello
Woman Kesha & Rare Candy
Youngblood 5 Seconds of Summer

We definitely feel like the value of Alan’s service vs. the price we paid was amazing! Alan’s services in our mind are priceless, he did such a fantastic job. He doesn’t nickel and dime you for every little thing like so many DJs do and this was so helpful for us.
